Check that the LED bulb's mounting collar sits flat and is held firmly by the original clip before refitting the dust cover. If it doesn't seat securely, contact us before going further.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLED bulbs have a heat sink or fan at the back. Make sure the dust cover closes fully over it and the cable is not pinched.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFit the H1 bulbs in the \u003cstrong\u003edipped\u003c\/strong\u003e position and the H7 bulbs in the \u003cstrong\u003emain beam\u003c\/strong\u003e position. Do not swap them.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTest every bulb with the engine running before you finish, and check for any dashboard warning lights.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eBeam alignment\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRotate each LED so the chips face left and right (3 and 9 o'clock), not up and down. This gives the cleanest cut-off.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSet the headlight levelling dial to 0 with the car unloaded.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAfter fitting, check the beam pattern against a wall and have the headlight aim checked by a garage. Incorrect aim can dazzle other road users.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eImportant information\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLED bulbs are an aftermarket upgrade, not an original halogen replacement. Rules on LED retrofit bulbs, and NCT outcomes, depend on the vehicle, the headlight unit and how the bulbs are fitted and aimed, so we can't guarantee a particular result.
